When Harry Met Sally.

Have you noticed that the only clip that ever gets shown is the fake orgasm scene? That's because that's the only funny bit in this "comedy"... well it's funny the first time you see it on the previews, when it gets repeated 10,156 times before the film even comes out it sort of loses it's impact.

In my defence I was forced to sit through it by an ex girlfriend.

You know what pisses me off about that scene?

Everyone acts like the "I'll have what she's having" bit is the punchline. It's more like an annoying jab in the ribs-- Get it? Get it? Hawr hawr hawr...

It is funny if you know the backstory, that's Rob Reiner's mother.

Yeah, yeah. Was that Billy Crystal who told the story on Jon Stewart?

I remember it from when they were flogging the movie.

Two more names go in "the book". :demon:

I was hooked the first time I saw it (aged 14 or so), even on a poky TV screen, and not knowing how famous it was.

I saw it first on a sheet hung up at the end of a hootch, windows blacked out and a sentry at the door to yell if officers came around. :bong:

Salt with Angelina Jolie was also boring. I actually fell asleep. Also, her Russian was so bad, all my Russian friends were laughing through the whole movie at her accent.

Angenila Jolie is to me an empress with no clothes. She somehow overcomes the obvious fact that she is a sexy as a can of corned beef and has managed to create the weird image of super sexiness. No way!

I thought Solaris was better. But then I think Tarkovsky is a better director than Kubrick.

Solaris! OMG.....my husband and I went to see this in the theater and we were bored stiff. At the end, one old lady walked out of the theater saying out loud "dun no why I spent my money on this shit, it was so stupid"...we just laughed.

I keep getting that confused with "Supernova". I guess I have to watch it now so I can grumble about it too. :hehe:
