Fuck, I meant doc.
Even though it's after nightfall (I can't pull my vote off Charlou now) this post bothers me greatly. I've screwed up a fake-claim as Scum in the past, but never a serious claim.

Let's hope the real Cop/Seer can sort this out, which seems like an easy enough fix.

Zigmen ...

Zigmen wrote:Aza and B.Tern, why are you holding the new guy's feet to the fire on day 1?

Also, MZ: You may have explained this fully itt, but I don't understand. How do you know there is a traitor, and how come only you know their character's name?
^ This information was available in the earliest posts of the thread.

posted 8.47 am my time, 3 hours 31minutes after his first post ...

She seems to be making sense and catching a few of the same vibes I've been catching. Always good to get her viewed early as well in case I'm wrong.

##Vote Charlou##

Something seems off about her game but it's hard to quantify. Gonna go with my gut.
^ Athene's posts prior to these posts of Zigmen's clearly show she has an understanding of what was going on with MZ, amok, the OP and the whole traitor thing:

Any thoughts on the players so far, Athene?
A couple. I like irre's mayor vote on feck, it shook things up a bit. My biggest ping so far has been amok, excessive speculation on traitors etc when we have that info in the OP. What did you make of her reaction to you?

We have what info in the OP? My speculation on traitors was sparked by the accidental viewing of a role PM, and while it might turn out to have been excessive, I believe my points were valid for consideration, at least. Only time will tell.
This info.
One week after being rescued from the region, Snake has been redeployed into the Soviet jungle as part of "Operation: Snake Eater", to fulfill the United States' promises. During the mission, he will have the assistance of another American defector, who defected a few years earlier. Your mission is to eliminate 'Naked Snake' and the traitor who is playing both sides of the fence as well as any other threats to the Soviet Union's national security.
He has confidence in Athene because he senses a common "vibe", yet he's already demonstrated he didn't know what was going on with MZ's info about a traitor role?

And his "Always good to get her viewed early as well in case I'm wrong." with regard to his mayor vote on Athene ... blatant hedging ...

His vote on me:

What a nothing vote.

crosspost Zigmen, as it happens.

Excuse the terseness, but really, what does what you say you have done in the past have to do with how I am playing in this game?

Which thoughts? I already noted amok seemed confused to me and why. I accept she got sucked into the flavour and couldn't decide what to do about it as a town player. I think she's town.
Your thoughts on other players .. ie any thoughts you want to add.
Heh. Not very coherent, tbh. I think you, amok and irre are town. Also Athene, probably feck, probably shizzle. I'm not as sold on andrew the town newb as others seem to be, easy to hide in all that newbishness, but not convinced either way. I'm in my usual day 1 dunno mode.
Hey! We're on the same wavelength! I have you, amok, charlou as town, with probably feck and athene (less sure). Oh and dp as town, too.
not something I ever thought I'd see you write.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Just started a read of Andrew's linked game. Chalk and cheese. Very formulated. I couldn't read much without knowing the basics of what the hell was going on. I find it interesting that he has the confidence to suggest those methods here.

I'm half way through the re-read. No sign of any thing looking like a traitor. However, I did take the time to read charlou's traitor wiki. It has to be a traitor who doesn't know the scum team. Otherwise the role pm would have broken the game. Not sure how I'd play that role. Probably just coast the first day. A no lynch was a good result for scum. Less info for tomorrow.

I'll have to read the rest later.

I have to think. I'm on the block for lynching (my own fault), but I should try to save myself somehow, because I know I'm Town.
on the re- read, I actually think this was the post that made me unvote. The "should" was enough. The next post kind of hinted at being not a special. I think I should have stuck. Amok is usually not so self obsessed.

The original post was at 20:29 and I said roughly 48 hours, however I posted

8 1/2 hours until the hammerdrop @ 13:06.

So I suppose it is fairer to go with my most recent post and say the day ended at 21:06. Especially since a clear majority wanted a no lynch at that point. I also flipped a coin, which landed with 13:06.

We are skipping the night phase entirely and going directly into DAY 2. No player's night actions were accounted for. Any night actions sent to me are being ignored.

You have 24 hours exactly from the time I post this message (and every other opening DAY post from now on) to lynch someone. Magic Ziggy is your mayor.

Just wanted to post this in the night thread but it was locked.
The lynch is worth the read for comedy value. Scum would be in stitches. It's all over the place. I can't get any clean line of thought without first saying to myself, "DP is scum", or, "Irre is scum". I think we'll not go down that path again in a hurry. I'm actually getting the strongest town read from shizzle. He's not very helpful, but looks completely genuine. He's so detached from what's actually going on, he'd have to be a genius to fake that. My targets for a view would be: athene, feck, zigmen, DP, amok. Take your pick or not. Oh, let's not forget ksen. :fp:
I'll check back later to see the results of the night actions.

Read the OP properly and I'm waiting for nothing. That's it. No night actions.

No lynch. No night actions. ???
Start again.
