Let this be a lesson to you charlou, don't defend the new guy, it will just get you killed.

^ How is that for signposting a possible special? Seriously, irre did not need to include that in her rationale for voting for me.irretating wrote: Also, amok is under lynch pressure and fearing she was a special about to out, I put a vote (again) on you to ensure she was safe.

I've read you as being town the last two games.charlou wrote:MZ, what do you make of all this?
Although I don't have that same feeling, you haven't done anything scummy imo.
I remember the same helpfulness to new players from before and I'm pretty sure you were town then.
As far as locking horns with Irre. Dunno. Maybe Irre is scum. She had me fooled last game.
Usually it's two town, but my run in with Oblivion last game tells me to watch these battles carefully.
mega xpost

I actually edited out (on xpost) the bit where I said I thought you (charlou) were a special. I get hauled over the coles for saying stuff like that.

Saying I'm voting for someone to see how they react is kinda pointless, kinda important to get a handle on new players early on.Magicziggy wrote:I'd really like these reasons DP.Don't Panic wrote:It's neither, and well thought out on my part(IMO, YMMV), although granted that I haven't shared those reasons yet.charlou wrote: DP's looking like getting my vote today. Might as well join the masses since she is looking kinda suss, "dp looks scummy" is a wonderful default position for scum, no one ever questions it.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

YMMV is Your Milage May Vary, which I'll be honest about: I don't understand the context in which it's used, most of the time.Magicziggy wrote:I'd really like these reasons DP.Don't Panic wrote:It's neither, and well thought out on my part(IMO, YMMV), although granted that I haven't shared those reasons yet.charlou wrote: DP's looking like getting my vote today. I'm troubled because I don't see what the others are seeing in regard to Charlou being (possible) Scum, with the exception of her vote on Irre. A Scum Charlou could have moseyed onto the Amok bandwagon, kept a low profile for the rest of the round, and I'd have been done like dinner. Right?
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

I did NOT signpost anything. Amok has already outed. Did not mention special.charlou wrote:^ How is that for signposting a possible special?
