Bigot Immigration Law State Senator Gone

The Republican Teagagger Party Arizona State Senator who authored one of the two most restrictive immigration laws in the US has become the first State Senator in the history of the State of Arizona to be recalled. He lost the recall vote by 53-45%, a pretty significant margin in conservative Arizona. The recall campaign called him a right wing extremist, and accused him of "demonizing" immigrants. Apparently the electorate agreed.

The idiot is a birther and a tenther, and opposes the 14th amendment, which freed the slaves. The immigration law in question is wending its way through the courts and costing Arizona millions per day to defend, at this moment in time where they of course have plenty of money to defend this piece of shit but none to hire cops (not that that would help, since bigot asshole Joe Arpaio would just use them all to harass brown people instead of enforce the law; his department hosted police who participated in drug and human trafficking across the border). The lawsuit was filed by the Department of Justice and alleges the immigration law is unconstitutional. So besides being a bigoted idiot, he's also an incompetent lawyer and therefore an incompetent State Senator. He probably says "taxation is theft" on a fairly regular basis and wants to dismantle government.

TPM quotes the opposition group that started the recall as calling it a "cautionary tale;" I don't know that I'd go that far, this guy is a real piece of shit and it's pretty obvious to anybody sane who digs into his positions on things. If they blow down the immigration law in Arkansas I'll start to believe things might be changing to a more sane viewpoint.
