Just some first thoughts (and no I won't be back to defend them )...

That's a somewhat nonsensical statement, but transparency is good...

I'm not 100% sure how I feel about tort reform, but I do think there is a lot of sense in it, so...okay.

That's pretty vague. I imagine he also "supports our troops".

Good, though somewhat safe, it's as far as you can go and be electable.

I have a lot more to read/learn about that but at this point that seems like a shaky idea to me and block grants seem really open to abuse. Not sure if that's a viable solution.

So he isn't retarded. This is also good.

He sounds like a pretty typical social liberal/fiscal conservative... or as they are otherwise known: libertarian. Much better than a lot of the Republican options, but I can't imagine the guy getting elected.
