Krugman Says Something Morally Compelling

Post by Schneibster » Sat Nov 05, 2011 9:06 am

Paul Krugman expresses an idea that has been lurking at the back of my mind for years. He makes the point that a rich liberal advocating raising taxes is being good, and the Republican Teagagger Party always makes them out to be traitors to their class. This is insidious, and intended by the greedy to try to discount the contribution of the civically-minded rich, to the minds of the middle and lower class.

Read all about it. He's not just a Nobel Prize-winning economist, he's a genuinely good person.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts. -Daniel Patrick Moynihan
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. -Thomas Jefferson
