The humour's a little predictable (and it's got Tim Allen in it) but it's made with such an affection for the source material that it doesn't fail to charm.
The image in your post isn't working for me, but if this is "Galaxy Quest," then I wholeheartedly agree. I love Tony Shaloub in that. Oh, and that guy who played Elliot on "Just Shoot Me" was actually quite affecting.

Does this count as a movie that sucks?

(I kinda have a thing for James Spader in this movie.)

And here's one the men probably won't agree with, but that I stand behind:

Maybe it's just James Spader looking adorkable.

Though I kinda like whenever Jaye Davidson shows up in a film-- lots of gender-bendy fun.

Yeah, I don't know. But I really enjoy watching it.

I would class 28 Days Later as the complete opposite - An awesome movie that still manages to suck!

I saw a premier showing of it with a live appearance by Danny Boyle and I completely missed asking him about 2 gigantic plot-holes in the thing! (Mainly because they didn't dawn on me until later.)

Spoilered in case anyone hasn't seen it yet.
Trigger Warning!!!1! :
Plot hole no. 1

The premise of the film is that a virus has been released that causes uncontrollable rage. It is so fast-acting and so virulent that almost all of Britain has murdered each other in the 28 days following its release. Sooooo... how come whenever we see the infected "zombies", they are acting together in groups to hunt down uninfected humans? Why aren't they tearing each other to pieces like all of their predecessors did? :dunno:

Plot hole no. 2

A large chunk of the thread is taken up with a group of uninfected humans escaping from the clutches of a group of evil squaddies that want to rape all of the girlies in order to repopulate Britain rape all of the girlies! So, at the end of the film, when our heroes' HELP sign is spotted by an RAF plane, why are they so happy to see them? Isn't there even the slightest suspicion that they might also be renegades looking for pussy? A pretty stupid level of trust for people trying to survive a zombie apocalypse, don't you think?

Flash Gordon. Officially the best movie soundtrack ever.

(Although 'Cavatina' in The Deer Hunter is also awesome, but TDH doesn't belong on this list.

Cop Out. It was savaged by the critics, but I thought it was funny :dunno:
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.
