It was a lot of fun being scum with ob and b.tern, we enjoyed it even if evil doesn't come naturally to us

I think the thing that surprised me most in this game was that Feck was first town-blocked and then vig-killed. I had him down as a bomb or something. town rushes in where scum fear to tread.

Feck created massive WIFOM in this game. I'd have picked him as town, if I had been town, I'm pretty sure. But, his posting was weird as. The charlou vig kill had us scum thinking that if it was a vig doing the killing, it was likely mono as it ruled out so many other players, but the feck kill, that was interesting.

Scum had some bad luck breaks in the game, but then so did town. I think it balanced out in the end.

Oh, and I'm all for hiding online status (I have done so myself for non-game reasons for a long time) as it can be tempting to draw conclusions based on what really isn't game play. Ksen's offline-ness was a lucky town break IMO.

What do you mean? The mafia mods here aren't true mods, so really only DP and ani can actually see true online-ness.

that's true. I trust the mods not to tell tales. If non-game stuff is frowned upon in games, that discourages people with access to the info to use it.

And I do think that requiring scum and specials to PM their actions makes them vulnerable to profile-watching. I'm always amenable to players using writeboards or instant messages to give me their night actions.

rereading the scumboard, I had forgotten that we originally thought Mono might be vig. I don't know when in the game I decided he had to be an SK. I think it was related to not posting at all but still putting in night kills. I was genuinely surprised when he flipped town.

She has vulnerbilities.

To be honest, I threw the towel in when mono posted and ran.
He was more likely town to me.
