need to think about this a bit. You think UT threw a scum special under the bus yesterday? I'm not sure we would have lynched b.tern without UT outing about having blocked Mono.

I would throw a scum special under the bus in a heartbeat.

would you do it while outing as a suspected scum roleblocker to save the town vig? because evidently I did.

day 4 is over. We lynched mono. he was vig, not the sk.

actually ob, i just thought of something that might explain things. If we misread the kills, mz could be the sk. it would explain his votes, and his behavior the last couple of days. And still explain the one kill night 2, scum did use mono to do the hit. it still has problems since it would mean irre killed char, but it's worth examining.

whoa. maybe so. It would explain why Irre was willing to white knight him so much on day 1. That's the thing. I can't quite believe he's on her team. Her white-knighting. His hammer vote.

okay, this "whoa" pinged a bit. where's ksen, i need a set of TR eyes on your posts. It's not that i don't agree with you, it's just the surprise you're trying to convey seemed a bit forced.

Yesterday and today so far remind me of scum raven from the Eve game I ran over at TR.

MZ if it's UT and OB as the remaining scum they have the votes to run the lynch today if mono doesn't come in and vote with us. If mono is sk and just has a "survive to end of game" win condition I'm asking him now to side with town and I'm willing to take him with us to the end.

If there is only one scum left I'm betting it's UT based on the flavor of the block that Feck gave out.

Oh really? I'm that out of it this game? If I'm scum raven then I bussed 2 scumbuddies this game. In that game, though I was seriously considering bussing Supernaut before you godkilled him, because he was coming off scummy as hell on day 1, I don't recall bussing anyone at all.

In the mafia community, how is it considered when a player uses complete absence from the game as a tactic. Bad form or legitimate ploy?

It's only as legitimate a ploy as town let's it. If scum get away with it then it's town's fault, not scum's.

We really do need to get back to the basics of lynching quiet ones, etc. Yeah, I know that'll lead to some lynches of me during the weekend but whatev.

If you say so. I've been in plenty of games where scum have to reach vote parity instead of just numbers parity.

If you are town I would try to block whoever pushed for a mono lynch the hardest.

It's only as legitimate a ploy as town let's it. If scum get away with it then it's town's fault, not scum's.

yeah I agree with this. But it's also up to the GM whether to find a sub or not. You missed 2 key days. It's going to be lynch or lose tomorrow and we have less info to evaluate you, and you have missed the real-time aspect to how those days occurred.

yep, throw in mono, the town vig who didn't even vote to save himself, or out, or even put much thought into his kills, and i'm seriously thinking of spending the next game, just trying to improve the games overall by constantly go after the queit ones and no one else. But i'll warn the GM ahead of time, and let them decide if they want that in their game. But this is getting really frustrating. tomorrow it's most likely going to be either ob, mz and ksen deciding the vote, or these same four people if i get the block right. and ksen is not inspiring confidence that he won't sink it for town.

yeah, pretty much. though saving himself might have made things even more dicey tomorrow. I'd be dead so my opinion wouldn't matter. But a middle of the night out with only one player likely to be around, and a self-saving vote would not have impressed me.
