Maybe it's because I'm drunk, but I just listened to the whole thing and I thought it was mesmerizing. At the halfway mark, it actually gets more whimsical, and better. It was weird at first, but that was because I clicked on the video to see it directly on youtube. But I ended up seeing/hearing it on youtube, while the video played here as well. So I heard both versions simultaneously, though not syncopated. Kinda cool, actuaaly, though initially confusing and disconcerting.
