You guys simply pull shit out of your ass now...oh...sorry you have always done that.JimC wrote:Warren Dew wrote:I thought you liked terrorists. Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Somali pirates: dead. Check.
Bin laden: dead. Check.
Khadaffi: dead. Check.
Walaki (or whatever his stupid name was): dead. Check.
Iranian murder plot: foiled. Check.
Iraq: over. Check.
U.S. economy: Dead. er...not so check.
Well, 6 out of 7 ain't bad. But that 7th one is liable to get him. Because we don't wanna hear the labor pains. We just wanna see the baby.

I do support Hamas and they ARE freedom fighters. It is only because Israel and America can't stand their puppets not getting elected that they label them as terrorists and murder Hamas members.JimC wrote:Warren Dew wrote:I thought you liked terrorists. Last I heard, Egypt might not keep taking our annual bribe to not attack Israel.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Don't worry, Obama is paying the bribes to the military junta now instead of Mubarak. Democracy in Egypt is a big negative for America.Robert_S wrote:Last I heard, Egypt might not keep taking our annual bribe to not attack Israel.

Not so crazy about his presidency. He hasn't accomplished an awful lot. Didn't do the things he said he was gonna do. Granted, it's difficult to actually get anything done with all the republifags cockblocking his every move. Still.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

He can just declare them terrorists and bomb them. It would be consistent with American policy.tattuchu wrote:Not so crazy about his presidency. He hasn't accomplished an awful lot. Re: Are you happy with Barack Obama's Presidency?
I think he is getting hit with both ends of the stick Everything he DOES the right wing Go ape- shit about and Claim he is a communist and every thing he DOESN'T do both something the 'Left' berate him for not achieving what he said he would and the right claim as evidence of him breaking promises .
I may be mistaken But YOU CES have tried that tactic . You despise everything the man has been able to do (in the face of politicians who would rather bring the government to a grinding halt than actually achieve anything ) but also want to lambaste him for the things he said he would do but hasn't been able to ?

The Democrats had complete control over both houses of congress for two years. Obama's abysmal job then was why the Republicans got voted in.tattuchu wrote:Not so crazy about his presidency. Yeah I don't understand either you don't get elected by making 100% of the people happy you get it by making 51% with maybe a few % in reserve. As much as I dislike the UK conservative government they at least understand that, they basically treat people who won't ever vote for them as not even existing.Robert_S wrote:Obama's mistake was trying to negotiate with nutjobs and stonewallers.Warren Dew wrote:The Democrats had complete control over both houses of congress for two years.
