Darnit, we JUST made the orange color with a rate of 5. :lay:

Us Merkins would have to quadruple that rate to get into the red color. Even Mexico has the same color as the US with a rate of 18.1. Sheesh. :x

I think a focused effort to conquer Texas by the other states would get that number up to a respectable level. :twisted:
Not that I expect anybody to listen to my advice. :hmph:

Intervals between the colours are uneven: 5, 15, 30, 30, 10. I hate that.

The map suggests that those who claim that the overall murder rate in the US is equivalent to or lower than the overall European murder rate, are talking out of their arse. In at least one case I am not at all surprised.
