I suspect gonzo is using coinflip as a figure of speech for randomly and used town/scum probability in the RNG. If he made it 50/50 and posted it in the thread I need to have words with him post game about not being retarded
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Code: Select all

// Replaces with spaces the braces in cases where braces in places cause stasis
   $str = str_replace(array("\{","\}")," ",$str);

I have two people who might be interested in playing. For now voting for Athene is off limits.

Wow, so we're pretty much having a 3 day long day 1 in effect. Doing another no lynch would be fucking stupid.

Make a case and we might

Actually, if the game was balanced by design, there's no way Gib could possibly be Scum. Why wreck a design with a random assignment? Town is the only team with flexibility in numbers.

Of course, a missed night 1 hurts Scum more than Town, so it might depend on when Gonzo decided to skip the night compared to when he decided to add a "random" player.

My Gut says (as a designer) there's no way to add a Scum to game that has already started without A) admitting the initial balance was wrong, or B) somehow penalizing the the Scum team.

An indy is a strong possibility as well.

But I'd bet he's not Scum.

And if Athene was Town, I wonder why Gib isn't just called a premature sub, given that the timeline has a flexibility built into it.

##Vote Contra##

Cuz it doesn't add up that Gonzo can just add a player to the game (Gib) but not just subtract one (Athene) unless the alignments were different, and I really can't see Gib as being Scum under any circumstances.

Gib, I'll trust your input on this. Am I missing anything?

Didn't Athene ask for a sub after gib had been added?
