He was an efficient scum player in Reservoir Dogs Mafia and there is substantial proof that he can play well for both sides. He resorts to mathematical arguments often which he uses either to help or mislead.
Interesting. He's made it tough for himself then because he's already quoting percentages. Doesn't really hold water if he's done it both ways. Let me go back and look at what he actually said.

I'm gonna crash soon. I think everyone needs to ask themselves if DP was wrong to challenge irre for using the town win condition as a way to flashlight other players whether she is town/scum and if Zigmen provided scum with the town's win condition or not. Also why should DP be lynched when the bandwagoners who formed a lynch vote each have given such weak reasoning to support their vote.

It's Day One it's likely we are going to hit by scum if our main bandwagon is one based on so little real scum hunting and instead on trolley tracking by irre, a driveby vote by shizz, and a 50/50 chance argument by Linus. DP should not be lynched.

I did not give a 50/50 chance argument. But if I had, that would be a quite strong reason to vote for DP because the baseline probability of being scum is substantially less than 50%.

At this time I mainly have list of people I think are more townish than the rest, and I have no really strong reason for picking DP specifically from the rest. He's about on par with Barnett (new guy), ksen (indicated low day 1 participation in sign up), and Shizzle (minimal participation) in that none of them have posted anything that makes me want to adjust up their probability of being town.
Ok, in other words Linus has a probable town list, a possible scum list and a don;t know list. Nothing wrong with that. It's not really using maths, just a way of conveying the same meaning as the rest of us.

Linus, where is Athene on your list?

Oh, I see I missed the '>' sign.

Still you said he's onpar with Barnett, ksen, and shizz. That makes me think you are willing to lynch anyone you can and not really concerned about scumhunting.

What little she posted "clicked" for me in gib's terminology and she said in the sign up she wouldn't be posting as normal, so I have her in the upper half of my town-to-scum list.

Is that a belated revenge vote, MZ?

Misreading "I don't have anyone as being >50% probable to be scum." as "I don't have anyone as being 50% probable to be scum." is not enough to get to your interpretation, you must have suffered additional lapses of attention/reasoning.

How do you think DP compares with Barnett and ksen?

If that's how you want to see it. Not bothered how you see it actually. I'm only concerned with having my vote a scum player.
It wouldn't be the first time UT has been scum and voted for a town player who is looking lynchable.

I've just re-read the irre win condition stuff and it doesn't really condemn DP as much as I thought.

Actually what I can gather from Irre revealing the gist of the win condition, is that Irre has a version of the town win condition. That's about it.
She went out on a limb last game about the mass claim. This time she's done it about the win condition. I still think she's town but I'm guessing she'd be prepared to pull a stunt like this as scum. The symmetry is interesting though with DP going after her first.
