A federal judge has struck down Utah laws prohibiting de facto polygamy:

Should be legal under the "pursuit of happiness" clause, eh? Seeing as how it doesn't harm anyone as long as it's not forced. Although, imo, that particular way of pursuing happiness is like trying to cure a headache by smashing your toe, then trying to cure your toe-ache by...you get the picture. :hehe:

Good thing. The article however forgets to mention that not only Mormons (or other religious folk) want to practice polygamous relationships.

SCOTUS trashed DOMA back in June, but has consistently upheld state laws against polygamy.

Frankly, I'm all for letting the Momos just have at it. Polygamy, pederasty, blood feuds, armed camps...the entire Mormon experience. Televise it like BYU games.
