Either you agree with what it is saying, or you don't and you provide some counter evidence. Making snide little remarks doesn't address your failing.

There are a whole bunch of major issues, but how about these two for starters.

1) Israel re-drawing the borders to ensure the fresh water supplies go to Israelis and not Palestinians.

2) The arbitrary restrictions on what can be imported into Gaza. At various times it has included wood, cement, gravel, chocolate, musical instruments, crayons, batteries, wheelchairs, books, cups.... I could go on, the list is really rather long.

Regarding point 2. We had a discussion about this around 3 years ago and at the time you were surprised and didn't initially believe such restrictions had existed. I provided you with detailed documentary evidence about some of the more absurd restrictions, though I don't really recall your response.

I do not believe the borders were redrawn, although there has been an ongoing water dispute. I do not recall the previous discussion, and I'd love ot see the material on it. Are you talking water in the West Bank? Or water in Gaza?

I would love to see the sources. Of course, it doesn't seem like much of a crime for Israel to control what goes into Gaza through Israel. Gaza has a border with Egypt, and a port, so it would be interesting to explore just how Israel is able to keep crayons out of Gaza.

Honestly, I'm not interested in a debate on Israel/Palestine. It's like gun debates. I've wasted weeks on them in the past and achieved nothing. I'll make little points here and there, but the issue is too polemic to get any real value out of.

This is reason why I don't debate with Coit much. For whatever reason, he continually claims he doesn't know the sky is blue. No matter how widely it is known that the sky is blue, he apparently doesn't know it. There's nothing wrong with not knowing certain things, but to speak so strongly and authoritatively on some subjects without knowing the most basic facts is discouraging to further debate.

This nonsense is, well, nonsense. You've debated me often, first of all. And, you don't back up your claims. And, when called on it, you simply say you're too tired of arguing to answer it.

If your biggies here are what Pappa said -- the Israeli Palestinian water dispute, and the fact that Israel had arbitrary restrictions on crayons and such being imported into Gaza, then we can have a discussion about that and explore what is really happening and why, and when. But, you've already said you don't want to discuss it. Obviously, that means, to you, continuing to declare yourself right without having to back anything up.

i'm sure it's only the funding for Israel that folks are objecting to.... funding Arab countries is only right and proper. They are the downtrodden minority, all 1.2 billion of them, whereas the 7 million Jews in Israel are enslaving them all.
