I don't know what to say to this. I'm amazed that there are people who seriously worry about such a scenario.
When paranoia becomes linked to a firmly held and somewhat extremist political position, there is an interesting synergy...
It's only paranoia if they aren't out to get you. It happens that the hoplophobes, Progressives and Marxists are out to get us. Sadly for them, their secret is blown, we know what they are planning, and we're doing a little planning ourselves to deal with them decisively should they attempt to implement their plans. And it doesn't necessarily involve ballot boxes or polite discourse.
"Sadly for them, their secret is blown" You are one funny guy.
“I wish no harm to any human being, but I, as one man, am going to exercise my freedom of speech. No human being on the face of the earth, no government is going to take from me my right to speak, my right to protest against wrong, my right to do everything that is for the benefit of mankind. I am not here, then, as the accused; I am here as the accuser of capitalism dripping with blood from head to foot.”
John Maclean (Scottish socialist) speech from the Dock 1918.

Now I'm in favor of shooting (certain) "wolves" from the air. The mangy ones.
Problem is, we shoot back. And we're better shots than you are.

We don't need no stinking illuminati, just our infrared laser illuminators and NVGs.

Out of touch? I'm sure there will be a rationalization for why not...

I think the idea is that his opponents have been lambasted previously for similar gaffe's...like McCain and his sparse familiarity with computer usage.
