For this news story I would say, probably not.
What do you think and what would you like to see developed within your lifetime?

I hope we'll see pickled sheep's testicles in every pub in the coming years.

I don't think it will happen in my lifetime, the predicted chance is small and we have surveyed a tiny number of the available stars. Unless we find very clever ways of surveying millions of stars easily, that's not going to change any time soon.

As for what I would like to see developed in my own lifetime... direct connection to the internet by thought alone, and all the possibilities that that entails.

Why did the brain-dead, no doubt "Humanities-graduate" journalistic numbskull responsible for that article have to illustrate it with a photo of a fake alien? This is a serious scientific question, you retarded little gobshite. You are writing for the BBC, not the fucking Sun. If you are going to do an article, do it properly. Otherwise fuck off.

It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

I'd like to see a nuclear-powered probe melt it's way through the Europan ice and send back piccies of weird alien mermaids.

To extend that, imagine all of us on Rationalia, lying coma-like at home, our brains all hooked up, and having a wild party at a virtual hotel Rationalia...

Sigh...
