No idea what prompted him to do it, but I remember watching it a while back. How the hell do you go to assassinate someone with a) a gas pistol, b) loaded with blanks (blank gas??) and c) that won't even fire anyway? Didn't it occur to him to test the pistol at least once beforehand?
