Restricting constitutional feeedoms.

Post by Tero » Tue Dec 18, 2012 3:21 pm

Guns: use same methods as are used to prevent abortions.

Make them watch videos of Hollywood and real massacres.

Give them a .22 after a month of training at Shooter school, like driver's ed. If they shoot any good guys or unarmed in test, fail. Retake in year.

Locks on all guns with a PIN.

Bigger than .22, a ten year clean record with .22.

Ducks: need to shoot 5 ducks safely eith ranger observing. Deer: similar. Licensed teams to cull overpopulation of deer.

Automatic weapons: only to be used at firing range and locked up at end of day. They would need to shoot the people running the range.

GPS tracking on anything over .22. The weapons with disabled GPS leads carrier ti automatic 10 year jail term.

Well thrre can only be so much w__king, trees and positions!

Besides, I was watching CNN.

This is my only forum where I can keep up with the number of responses.

I did not restrict the thread to guns, you can restrict the pursuit of happiness if you like! Ban GM foods, religion etc.

Yeah! Aplussers will flock here to read and shun us in the Atheist Community! We could turn all public forums to gun forums and keep the good stuff for us in the Pub.

A satellite uplink on each and every firearm that will disengage the safety before every shot after the owners PIN number is entered, thumbprint scanned, blood-alcohol level tested, heart rate checked, an image of what the gun is pointed at is checked, and clearance from the pentagon is relayed back allowing the gun to be fired. The firing window shall not be more than .75 seconds and will be announced with an airhorn attached to the firearm.

Invent the device to handle that, and you will be rich beyond your wildest dreams. Have at it! :holcheer:

Let's pretend that this is the land of rainbows and elves and that technology actually existed.

How would you go about implementing that on the estimated 300,000,000 privately held, lawfully owned firearms currently in circulation in the United States?
'Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do.. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! ..But He loves you.' - George Carlin

My joke was that this is more than a little extreme. I do think the 2nd amendment is in need of some amending though.

Here's a question. I've just read over the preamble and one thing sticks out. Why is there only one Federal Government?
