YouTube subscriptions

Post by Red Celt » Tue Oct 02, 2012 12:37 pm

I've been going through, searching for "known people" in the atheistic/skeptical community in order to subscribe to their YouTube accounts. Just so as to keep up with the soap opera that this "community" appears to have become.

As I'm a noob at such things, I was hoping that people could recommend some channels to subscribe to.

I subscribed to some of the FTB people - more for comedic purposes than anything else. Then again, I don't know all of the FTB people, nor which of them actually produce videos.

I'm also subscribed to TheAmazingAtheist, Justin Vacula... oh, and NoelPlum99, because I like him.

Any more for any more?

*I'd entered TheAmazingAtheist as TheAngryAtheist... can't think why :smug:

Hmmm... subject to this, I had a look at Justin Vacula's blog site, which has a most-recent comment about him moving to SkepticBlogs, complete with URL. Except the page doesn't exist. The same happens when you Google for "skepticblogs justin vacula" - it shows a link to a page there, by him, but clicking the link shows that it has been deleted. His name also doesn't appear on the list of authors at SkepticBlogs.

Has he been removed from there? Is there some news that I've not caught up with, yet? Is this due to the stupid petition?

eta: OK, he's here http://skepticink.com/justinvacula/, but clicking "Home" still takes you to a dead page on SkepticBlogs. The link is on his FB page, with no (apparent) explanation for why he's not on SkepticBlogs.

Ooo... OK, cheers. Adding now. Although I'll give The Thinking Atheist a miss due to guilt-by-association. I don't like who he gave his forum to moderate.

Also The Atheist Experience (despite their A+ support I like the show very much).
