Birdsong

Just watched part one of the Beeb's adaptation of the book. The love story between the two main characters was as smouldering and intense as anything I have ever seen on the screen. Their sexual attraction burnt holes in the TV screen!

Beautifully made too. The Beeb can still do it!

Watch it if you can!

This is a repeat from a few months ago. First time around, I recorded just the the first of the two parts, but not the second. Bummer. :lay:

This time around, I only realised it was on about 30 minutes in. But since it's on BBC4, there's a late-night repeat. So I've scheduled that for recording along with part 2 next week.
