modern, original, controversial art

Find something 'proper artish' that is uptodate, maybe still drying on the canvas even, that really pushes the boat out and is so outlandish you are wary of posting it. :smoke:

A little too Americocentric and not really controversial. Shock art themed on violence is more or less as old as the cavepaintings. :smoke:

Drone assassinations is to me modern original and controversial art. So are DNS attacks and the like. Mind you my definition of art is that of artifact and artificial. Anything that humans create from their imagination and make manifest in the real world. Motorways, paintings, political ideologies, war, lolcats, anything and everything. We just utilise forms of it in different ways.

Well, snap judgments critiquing the offerings of readers doesn't strike me as the best way to solicit input here. You should let people post the art that they like and let the thread breathe. Don't suck all of the oxygen out of the room.

Where would the artist's ego be without the objective viewpoint of the critic (failed artist)? :smoke:

Crump, post your own example to set the tone.

That would be controversial as a painting...that's more like it. :smoke:

No one has done this.
I've not seen it done before.
I like it.
