What was the magazine that had the Howard the Duck comic?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

You can watch it and wear the experience as proudly as you would wear a disfiguring scar (makes a good war story).

I haven't watched it since I was a teenager.
IIRC, I gave it Two Thumbs Down.

He appeared a s 'guest' in several comics and then got his own. It was pretty funny and well done for a couple of issues and then the joke ran dry.Bella Fortuna wrote:Marvel comics.Robert_S wrote:What was the magazine that had the Howard the Duck comic?
Marvel started a 'serious' campaign for 'Howard the Duck for president' but he was already on the way out by then.

Do you just watch what Kermode tells you to? If so, you might like it. I haven't seen it for years but I remember it being, not even painfully bad, just on a screen anything other criticism of it would be too elaborate.Animavore wrote:... am I doing the right thing or am I letting myself in for profound torture?
