BP filed a claim that Halliburton destroyed evidence regarding the performance of Halliburton's concrete slurry in the Deepwater Horizon well, that they claim led to the accident that contaminated the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, in the trial of each company suing the other over the spill currently ongoing in federal court in New Orleans.
