I have infinite respect for the man who vomited into the gaping anus of Christ.

Urging your crowd to applaud the IRA is another one.
The man's a genius... probably my favourite comedian besides Bill Hicks... He's the first to break the mould for me since him. ♥

I loved when he did that bit for his Comedy Vehicle show on BBC2. Someone actually walked out. Some people have no sense of humour it seems.Eriku wrote:

Absolutely legendary bit of improvisation... I love that I've heard some of the bits before, but he manages to breathe new life into them and surprise me... Him getting stuck on the word "nook" when detailing the life of William Wallace also made killed me

He's fucking brilliant. Oh and in that first youtube video, 2nd row half hiding behind a pillar and to his left is one of my best friends and his partner. Mind you his technique over the last five years has clearly been influenced by Daniel Kitson, Simon Munnery and of course Richard Herring. My favourite line about Stewart Lee comes from Simon Munnery. "Stewart Lee isn't as smart as he thinks he is, but then again who is?"

May I just mention I'm seeing Stewart Lee and Daniel Kitson (plus others) at a benefit for Resonance.fm in November. Munnery contributes to resonance.fm so I'm hoping he'll pop up too.
I love Resonance.fm.
Oh and also his book, How I Escaped My Certain Fate, is genuinely a work of art.
