Re: Spiritual Belief Selector Quiz
I think it may go something like this. Look at statement # 17: Social betterment programs (e.g. equality, anti-poverty, education) should be fundamental to the belief. If you agree, religions who are deemed to have social betterment programs high on their priority list are regarded to be compatible with you on the basis of your answer.soul_biscuit wrote:How can I be 87% nontheist when I rejected gods at every opportunity?
Weird.
And why am I 12% Scientologist?
Also, don't take the quiz too seriously. Answering 20 questions is unlikely to result in an in depth and fail safe analysis.

Re: Spiritual Belief Selector Quiz
I think you have to mark "NA" in the social justice questions, because belief in god doesn't apply.
"Her eye was on the sparrow. Her mind was on the dove,
But no one cared and no one dared to speak to her of love.
Her eyes are always hooded. Her claws are sharp as steel.
We teach her not to see too much. We teach her not to feel."

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Re: Spiritual Belief Selector Quiz
Yeah, I marked "NA" for every single one of the belief questions. It doesn't ask whether you think the social justice is a good thing, but whether it is part of your religion.Red Katie wrote:I think you have to mark "NA" in the social justice questions, because belief in god doesn't apply.
