I have been listening a lot to The Cure this last few days and have concluded that they are vastly under-rated and that actually their music is really very special. Also Robert Smith, their leader is a terribly nice chap! Here he is:-
Robert Smith is a very nice man.

By way of a small bump, a great track. The chorus gives me goosebumps.

I grew up on the Cure, my mum loved them and had a bit of a 'thing' for Robert Smith
She had an old Ford Escort when we were kids and a Cure album on tape that we'd listen to over and over whilst driving along the coast in the summer. Mint Car in particular brings back memories of speeding down the coast above the cliffs in the sunshine, sea breeze blowing in the windows. We played it at her funeral :sighsm:

Men! They're all beasts!
Yeah. But isn't it wonderful?
