Remind you again who opened Gitmo for prisoners? Different joke, there, and one you were never shy about pointing out. However, the person who opened Gitmo hasn't been President for 4 years, and the person who is in there now ran for President on the basis of a promise to shut it down.
"everybody" -- doesn't pass laws. Congress does, and in 2009 and 2010, Congress was controlled by the Democrats. If he couldn't get it done with his own party controlling Congress, then maybe we ought to just make him dictator. Would that help?
