Gonzo wrote:I don't think we should assume he's just an unhelpful townie, either. What do you think about there being two nightkills, Contra? You didn't seem to mention a serial killer in your version of the game set-up. Do you think the cult can make night kills?
I don't think that the cult could initially make night kills, Gonzo - but they sure as hell could if they recruited a 'vig' or SK.
We have been lucky up until last night that a cultist had been elliminated every evening and on day 1. Since we didn't have that fortune Night 3 this means that there are currently 2 ( actually possibly 3 now) cultist. They recruit by day. Even though one died night 2 they had already recruited someone Day 2 - leaving one still standing Day 3. They prolly recruited on that day and today as well. That makes three if I'm counting correctly.
Therein lies the problem with mass claiming. Even if it does happen three of them could be recruits.
It's five town vs. Everything else the way I see it.
We have to choose wisely and everyone needs to be participating.

We'd better hit scum today, otherwise this game is going to be lost.
Sounds to me - if we're working on the theory that scum hits are "blazing" that DP was the scum hit and Adem the SK. Feck voted Adem before being lynched yesterday, so perhaps the SK was following his lead (and I was also sus of Adem).
At the moment I'm thinking about Jerome - that BW on him and OB on day2. What did DP say - you're going to laugh when Jerome flips scums too (or something like that).
vote Jerome

If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way."

Jerome - same question. We've heard almost nothing from you this entire game. Nobody should be getting a free pass to not participate this late into the game. Who are your suspicions?
I am Thinking Aloud, I love Bella Fortuna.

Opps, sorry about that habit, I did an edit of a type-o.

Vote Higgs
After sleeping on it, I think her vote from yesterday still pings. I made a mistake, so she voted for me. Fair enough. But she the realised that I had caught my own mistake, and she left her vote on me anyway. That alone is only fairly scummy. But, she called my vote on her a revenge vote.
Higgs, having a reason to vote for somebody doesn't make it a revenge vote.

So,a lot of times when cult recruits specials the specials do not keep their powers. Also, sometimes cult cannot recruit specials at all.
Zigmen, every time you post you seem scummier to me. You also seem like your feelings are hurt. It's not personal, you know that.

I think we have about 24 hours left of this game, just sayin. I don't really like these long days, but since we have the time I'm going to take time to come to conclusions.

Of course I know that.
So why did you keep your vote on me? The initial reason for your vote evaporated, yes?

I'm the Doc.
N1 Oblivion
N2 Feck
N3 Denny.
Question 1) With 2 kills last night, i would assume my protection of Denny did nothing. Why is he still alive 2 days after outing?
I'm all ears, but I can't help but think that Denny was recruited or was Scum to begin with.
Question 2) We need to discuss possible game design elements. Respawing recruiters? Check. What else can we expect?
Question 3) I can't really blame anyone who has been on me for looking Scummy. I've been trying to lay low to avoid looking like a special, but what about Higgs? She realized I misread the OP and left her vote on me anyway. Does anyone see this as suspicious, or is it just me?
Also Gonzo pings like crazy.
Forgive for outing perhaps too soon, but I really don't trust Denny since he's still alive, and I think we need to know who is who at this point.

Zigman, the part which is bolded bothers ne a bit. Denny could easily be alive because a) nobody bothered trying to kill him because they assumed the dic was protecting him.
Textbook Mafia 101 says that there is a 50/50 chance that YOU are scum because THAT is the one claim an actual doc would not want to counter because it would leave him exposed - ESPECIALLY at a crutial moment for town such as now.
I think you are scum. I also think that everyone played right into your plan to elliminate many possibilities and narrow them down to the few that haven't claimed. If you are indeed town then it was a stupid maneuver to claim; if you are scum or cult - nice work but it's time to put you to rest...

"...assume the
doc was protecting him." though you are probably still a "dic".

That pings for me too.
Zigmen does not trust me because I'm still alive.
Scum didn't try to kill me N2 because they thought I would be protected. Then he protected me on N3.
I have no idea if I'm killing with my views or not. Perhaps I should view Zig.
I would like to see views on Higgs, Mantis, contra and, well, everyone.
