If we made 9/11 a religious war it'd be over with already. There isn't a single Muslim country that can defend against genocide level biological/nuclear/chemical attacks. By now we'd have been celebrating and recolonizing their areas for years.
Hitler and his silly inefficient gas chambers, we bring them to you :{D
It is a religious war to Al Qaeta.
Meh, either way it would be child's play for the US to exterminate them. Maybe it is about time we made an example of those that really shouldn't fuck with those they are fucking with?

As Emperor Palpatine would say."Wipe them out,all of them" and it could be easily accomplished.
Biological, chemical or nuclear :funny: Never a need to risk US ground forces, just kill a few million Afghans until they learn their place. Or are all dead, it really doesn't make much difference
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Predator drone visiting Afghan families on condolence mission

AFGHANS who lost family to a psychotic US soldier are being visited by a Predator drone programmed to comfort the bereaved.

The General Atomics MQ-1 Predator, a flying robot drone usually used for surveillance and targeted killings in remote areas of Afghanistan, has been switched to its backup Winning Hearts & Minds operating system and is going house-to-house providing emotional support.

Afghan subsistence farmer Samoud Jalal said: "The murders have this city on a knife-edge. When the knock came at the door my son had his AK-47 ready to fire. But when my eyes met its multi-spectral targeting system and it mechanically intoned 'I am sorry for your loss of family, friend or member of your religious community,' I felt a sincerity I had never felt from any American.

"We took tea, it put the span of its titanium wing on my shoulder and told me how deeply it empathised with my pain. I am proud to call this Predator my brother."

You overestimate the ability of the US, and underestimate the ability of Al Qaeta.

Robert Fisk, never misses an opportunity be a douche. Here he claims that the deranged soldier who massacred a bunch of people wasn't deranged at all, and any such claim that he was must be "nonsense." What really is the case? This is a normal American soldier, a murderous soldier, just doing what he was trained to do........

http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/co ... 75737.html

The only thing missing was Fisk's usual "blame the President" for the "top down" cause and effect here. Oh, but that's right. Obama is President, so we don't go that route anymore.

According to Fisk, he's just a typical apple, in a typical American barrel.

Dresden was a typical British air-raid. Gotta expect the shit to fly everywhere when it hits the fan like that? :smoke:

People die in conflict zones. It isn't the body count that matters. It is the size of the news story and how long it gets recounted which matters for international status. Media moves on and a few dead can easily eclipse millions - consider the cultural revolution in China in the sixties vs JFK? :smoke:

I recently applied for a position with a design and construction firm that has an operating division of the company called 'Post Conflict Reconstruction'. It was based in DC and you had to be able to get a top secret security clearance. Gee, I wonder who they were doing work for....
