I've got it ! This is how we will colonise space !

On the news today was an item about the successful test of the engines for the proposed Skylon space plane.
It has the potential to launch payloads into orbit at costs around £650 per kilo, as opposed to the current £15,000 per kilo.

It seems to be a real engineering project, not the usual pipe-dream.
If it gets built, it would be a real accelerator for space programs in general. And make money launching satellites.
I can't see why they aren't putting some really serious money into it.
