Is "go fuck yourself" playing nice?
When someone says, "You need to wake up if you want to be fit to be a human companion", I feel justified in saying "go fuck yourself." It's just banter, doncha know...
Banter it is not.
It is aggressive ratcheting of a conversation that had already crossed the playing nice event horizon several eons ago.

I'm glad you're back Schneibster.
You will never be more accepted than you are here---probably.

But then, I've been wrong before and I'm drunk right now.

Still, I am glad you're back.
That much is true.

Could you clarify what you mean by that post Schneibster? What does the Mabus case have to do with the "in crowd"?

AFAIK, nobody here comes close to his kind of crazy.

Relevance? (not that there needs to be any, of course)

Welcome back schneib, how fared the expedition to the wilder reaches of the web?

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Thanks for making up a pretty demeaning lie about me. I hope you weren't counting on getting any of my money anytime soon.

Meanwhile, gee, you know, I don't suppose my reaction had anything to do with the response I'd gotten before we even started in on the gang rape scene.

Nawww.

Then you'd look bad for not doing anything about it, right? And Gawd forbid you actually have to do anything.
