These are all the town statements I could find from the thread so far, sorry if I missed anyone, every quote is a link to the original post it's from.

To tell you the truth I was a bit onto Sifaka as well. I noticed in one of her posts she said: I am mayor, therefore I am with town. Being mayor doesn't mean she is innocent at all! And there was one other post that was suspicious too. Hmm, Sifaka, hm.

Yes, Ani has given a detailed account of his character (name, special role, etc.) and while these could be faked, they have the ring of truth to me.

Also, Ani is known to be a stirrer for the sake of it, so his antics aren't necessarily incriminating.

I'm not saying this proved Ani is innocent, but I don't think it's enough to convict him.

On the other hand, Sifaka has been fairly coy... She hasn't made a truth statement for 95Theses to investigate, she was quick to assume the role of Mayor, and has been "playing dumb" (a bit too dumb) about the ins and outs of a Mafia game, albeit Dune-flavoured, when she has played to my knowledge 4 in a row prior to this.

We could clear this up... Could Sifaka please provide us with the name of her character, and without necessarily revealing her "special" role if she has one, give us some details about who your character is?

Also, could Sifaka please make a statement about your allegiance to Town so that 95 can truth-see you?

EDIT: Oh sorry Sifaka, I missed your truth statement before. But my previous point still stands... could you give us the name of your character and one or two details??

Neither of these two seem to be very clear. Ghat only states who he is, and Ani says he's more town than a plague, which isn't very friendly to towns.

Fuck it, if Ksen is right taking out Ani takes out a scum player too, and I'm asleep on my seat at this point.

I think it sounds more suspicious to simply just say I am with town.

Why is it suspicious to state your allegiance without giving away your role? Giving away roles just allows the killers to make a list of most valuable targets.

Why is it suspicious to state your allegiance without giving away your role? Giving away roles just allows the killers to make a list of most valuable targets.

It's easier to say "I'm with town" than it is to say "I'm so-and-so, bodyguard of Paul Atreides", or whatever. You don't necessarily have to give away details of a special role, but a bit of detail with the character and name wouldn't go astray.

Well ya, anyone could say they are with town. Like when I was in mafia in the other game, I went with "I'm an innocent civilian". Easy Peasy.

I'm not going to vote Animavore because I don't really think he is a target. Who would be, I'm not so sure, but perhaps, Sifaka. Or Ken. But I don't really have any sort of strict suspicions, only slight? And that is only judging by posts in which I might be completely off track.

In other words, I don't really know.

We say "I'm with town" because one of the players has the ability to detect lies. I'm not sure about Animavore. I appreciate that his early shit-stirring made him seem really guilty but I'm with CJ now, his role doesn't seem made up and his defense rings of truth, especially if he's known for doing some things. I appreciate that we don't have much else to go on but if there's one thing I learned from last game it's that every lynching counts and we should be minimizing our mistakes as best as possible. Do we have no other suspects?

But I think it''s too late at this point. The people that voted him (Ani) are off to beddy-by. Maybe he is his guilty'?? But, I don't know, the only reasons that would be making him guilty are our own concerns that he could turn traitor..... being that he spoke a true role.... or that he was lying. But, he seemed a bit too specific in his role to be lying, in my opinion.

If I were to vote, I would go for:

Which is what I am going for.

I think animavore is innocent and my suspicion of sifaka grows.

I think sifaka is a better bet for hitting a scum. Note: higgs2 said that lynching animavore would not result in the death of the potential scum he's married to.
