Is there any point saying that Drumpf has already gone back on his campaign promisss about not considering social security cuts and raising the pensionable age? Oh but he is tax cutting for rich people, so they’ll be okay.
At what point does ‘not voting for ultra wealthy people’ become a thing in America?

The new Republican Reich will be a police state. See folks, this is what you voted for. Those of you who voted for this form of government and those of you who didn’t vote at all are complicit in making this new Reich possible. Don’t complain this is what you wanted.

Mary Trump Has Brutal Reminder For Her Uncle Over His Plan To End Birthright Citizenship
https://www.comicsands.com/mary-trump-b ... inkprogram

While Donald's children would not be affected by an end to birthright citizenship, his father would have been. A fact pointed out by Trump's niece, Mary Trump.

Both of Donald Trump's paternal grandparents were German-born.

But when their son Frederick Trump—Donald's father—was born, he became a United States citizen through birthright citizenship.

President-elect Donald Trump’s social media stock had been sinking fast after a short-lived, post-election-victory surge this week. Then, with a single post on Truth Social, he helped boost the stock again – and added a half billion dollars to his net worth as a result.
“There are fake, untrue, and probably illegal rumors and/or statements made by, perhaps, market manipulators or short sellers, that I am interested in selling shares of Truth. THOSE RUMORS OR STATEMENTS ARE FALSE. I HAVE NO INTENTION OF SELLING!”

At Friday’s market open, in what was likely a classic “buy the rumor and sell the news” trade, shares of Trump Media and Technology Group had fallen 42% since their recent peak shortly after Wednesday’s open. Traders often buy a stock in anticipation of a positive event for a company – and when it happens, they sell to take their share of their profitable bet.

Immediately after, the stock surged, rising nearly 15% Friday. Trump is the company’s single largest shareholder, and his 114.75 million shares are now worth about $3.7 billion. That’s up from $3.2 billion at Friday’s market open.

Friday’s jump helped the stock land in the green for the week – but not by much. Trump media rose just 4.4% over the past five days.

"Writing in Slate, University of Missouri law professor Frank O. Bowman laid out the complications of expanding that stop to dozens of elected and appointed officials. “To begin, no likely suite of pardons could cover all the possible targets of a concerted retribution campaign. There are just too many,” he noted. “Should Biden pardon every member of the House and Senate who voted to impeach Trump on either occasion? Every member of the Jan. 6 committee? If, as commonly suggested, Biden pardons Liz Cheney, should he also pardon Dick Cheney? … Should he pardon special counsel Jack Smith and Attorney General Merrick Garland? What about Fani T. Willis and Alvin Bragg? And if so, what about all the many people who worked for them in connection with Trump investigations?”

"In fact, Bowman observed, “Pardoning only the most prominent potential Trump targets — incoming Sen. Adam Schiff (D-California), Liz Cheney, Garland, Smith, nationally famous journalists, and the like — would end up protecting the people who need it least because they are more likely to be wealthy or to be plugged into political networks that would readily contribute to their defense.”

"On this score, Schiff has it right. “I would urge the president not to do that,” he told NPR of preemptive pardons. “I think it would seem defensive and unnecessary.”

The Dems can high horse and virtue signal and talk about how much empathy they have all they want but it strongly appears Americans don't give a ◊◊◊◊. It's pretty deflating but it's about time to truly accept it. Corporations and people bend to Trump, that's all there is to it.

Why does that even matter? If I promised a million it might matter, but not for billion dollar corporations. Christ, that’s probably just a handshake —neither of them owe each other anything.

I think you just can’t cover so many issues on a daily basis, it’s brain rot. At this rate, if the average person is wrong just 3/100, then your average “engaged” citizen is still wrong about a thousand things a week; never mind the guys giving him the news, there’s a literal fuck ton of wronging…
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

I will just be following the Trump popularity meter. I don't need these kinds of details. He will fail,

Hillary to be locked up. FBI building soon for sale:
Trump’s FBI pick Kash Patel locks down Senate support as Wray prepares to quit
Seen as a controversial nominee, Patel is acquiring senate judiciary committee support for confirmation

With his deeply polarizing views about gutting the FBI and his so-called enemies list of people Trump feels wronged by, Patel was seen as one of the controversial nominees who could face difficulty in getting confirmed.

elsewhere ( user Norman A.)
By the time he is inaugurated, all the policies he campaigned on will be reversed. He will also insist he never said that he would do the stuff he campaigned on. That would be...what's the phrase...fake news.

His bold new plan to "Make America Great Again" will be to allow foreign workers in specific industries like produce picking, building and cleaning, and not deport them after all (Trump: "Isn't that nice of me?"). New oil production won't start for years, but the oil companies will get billions in government handouts for "exploration". This money will be turned into stock buybacks for exec boardrooms almost instantly.

Fortunately, almost nobody will listen to DOGE because it will be a Trump ego-stroking machine with no actual teeth to enforce any of its stupid "rulings". Musk: "Boeing needs all workers to stand up 18 hours per day and make more nuclear-powered zeppelins!" Everyone else: "And you can ◊◊◊◊ off."

Extra tariffs will "no longer be necessary now Trump's in charge", and any in force now will have been "a failed Biden experiment". Trumpy may not even add new tariffs but take some away. Because that's what he promised on the campaign trail, remember? Remember??

Prices, which will fluctuate anyway, will be "controlled by Democrat criminals" when they go up and "all his own work" when they go down. Of course, he will take all the credit for fuel prices already being lower before he became president. Or not if they go up.

In summary, he will be an absolute lazy slob, sitting around in his filled diaper in Mar-a-Lago, do absolutely nothing whatsoever and make no changes, while taking credit for Biden's work and simultaneously calling Biden a criminal. He won't forgo his WH salary this time round - he has loans interest to pay to overseas creditors!

Typical Trump operation - a lazy ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ liar getting paid to do sweet FA.
And the prices will not go down. They never do, unless it was bird flu that caused chicken and eggs to go up.

He will have to round up a few illegals, for show.
