I know. I'm the town drunk right now.

my vote is also staying where it is unless 95 comes up with something concrete on someone else
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Well I realise what a huge mistake I made by blabbing so early (too late, alas!)

However, if you really want to know I was going to investigate Sifaka last night.

Why Sifaka, particularly? If she's innocent, the scum already know this and should not fear. If she is scum, then you have no bigger target painted on your head than there already is.

For 95Theses - I'm on town's side.

I'm voting sifaka. If CookieJon is who he claims to be, it's likely she's scum if an investigation on her was blocked, and I found her actions suspicious anyway. The evidence is pointing strongly in her direction at the moment, as far as I'm concerned.

Reading back through the whole thread, I got a gut feeling she wasn't being entirely honest... lots of "oh I haven't got a clue what's going on, little innocent old me!", etc.
If she's innocent, the scum already know this and should not fear.
So? The scum already know who all the innocents are, don't they?
If she is scum, then you have no bigger target painted on your head than there already is.
Do you mean there was no point in not revealing I wanted her investigated because I'm dead meat anyway?

Do you have a better suggestion of who to investigate? To be honest, I was torn between Heyzeus and Sifaka. I went for Sifaka because she's the mayor, and potentially more influential than Heyzeus.

I'm thinking 95theses should test ksen for truth, as ksen would be valuable for town if s/he is cleared.
Way ahead of you

I figured he clearly knows WTH is going on with this game and these characters.

Ksen is telling the truth when he claims to be with Town.

Yeah, but everyone thought I was going to investigate Ani, so unless they were informed somehow of my intended suspect, I don't see that that directly implicates Sifaka.

Maybe she has the power to block herself, or something? There was obviously some reason the investigation into her was prevented, unless one of the scum has a general ability to prevent any investigation at all for one night, which I find unlikely. She's the most likely candidate for scum at this point, anyway.

Why do you find that unlikely?

Because it's not a power I've come across in any previous mafia games I've played, and it would skew things a long way in the mafia's favour.

Oh, I see what you're saying now. You're saying it is unlikely scum have a blanket power to stop investigations without targeting anyone specific to block, correct?

It is much more likely that scum have a roleblocker and that the roleblocker was tasked with blocking CJ last night while scum killed the Doc. Thus clearing the way for a kill of CJ tonight.
