I am suspicious of any seemingly coherent and political/economic theory.

We are too complicated and weird for that.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Nah most libertarians are too marxist for me, I want to see the atmosphere privatised. Why should free loaders be able to breathe more oxygen than others

Option 6 is an oxymoron. (Unless you're a redneck moron.)

"No discernible political leanings" is aimed at what Dante called "moral drifters," in this case those who go through their life oblivious to or deliberately ignorant of politics. You know, people who just go with the flow, no matter who is in charge, who don't bother to vote or participate in any way in politics.
Oh. You mean "Right wing authoritarian followers". :coffee:

I'm rather centrist on the political poll, slightly to the left. So it's their misconceptions that are at play there, fueled by their biases.

Cheers for those of us on the center-left.

And Reagan wasn't nearly as right-wing as people seem to think nowadays. One of the most mis-remembered Presidents we've had (and that's a hotly contested title).

Of course you're "centrist", meaning neo liberal capitalist. center "left center "right" all bullshit. I have no misconceptions, and everyone has biases.
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.
