When I was in the Flinders Ranges last week, I was going to walk to St Mary Peak. I didnt in the end because I didn't think I'd be up to it.
I was confronted by this sign which says that the Adnjamathnha people would prefer I didn't go right to the top because it is central to their creation story. I know there's a similar request regarding Uluru. Having been 30+ when I arrived here I have no idea of this creation story. It might be interesting to know it and understand why these people have these views. Do they really believe them or are they just stories.

I don't think you can leave this stuff out till 18.

And to add, the major religions and belief systems of indigenous people should be treated like for like where they have some impact on the local and wider community.

Well, you want to teach 13 year old degrees in "Theology" along with evolutionary biology. I would think reading the Sun Also Rises wouldn't seem too much of a challenge for 13 year olds in your book.

I didn't say equal time. Like for like means they should all be presented as folklore or myth with no grounding on science .
