Actually, I've posted embedded images that easily exceed those limits, so ... :dono:

Seven turrets, 14 12" guns, originally intended for a South American country. Fought at Jutland.

Gee, I have no idea.

Yes, the only capital ship ever built with the main armament in 7 turrets, and all on the centreline. Built for Brazil, and then they tried to flog it to Turkey, and than had to keep it for themselves.

Intended to be the Rio de Janerio. (I forget which country ordered it. :D )

The next question is yours, but I may be otherwise occupied for the next few hours. :snooze:

Okay, easy one. Name one of two submarines used at "troop transports" in WWII. (BTW, there may have been more than that, but these two were "dedicated" to the job because of their characteristics.)

The Nautilus was one, not sure of the other.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

The other was the Narwhal. They were "huge" (for the time, anyway) and lousy divers, so they were used to insert special units into fun places.
