I got the impression that he is knowledgeable on game strategies. However, I looked back at his post, I think on last page or so, when he states that Ani 'conveniently' realized he was role blocked. First time reading the thread, I didn't see this to be the case - I just thought Ani jumped the gun. However, I was looking at it in a more simplistic way. It could very well be some sort of 'concocted' plan, but for now - I'm not going to vote MZ or Ani - just in case their story is the true story.
I think I have finally come to terms with the fact that Ani lied for no reason than he stuffed up - and that he's scum. He forgot that I blocked his role. Unfortunately I wasn't around to see his oversight. If I had, this wouldn't have happened. He took a chance that the roleblocker would cover for him. Like so many other times, I have obliged. But seriously, what would anyone have done?

Alright, so... Ani probably got a message that he was blocked last night. (Actually, he said this to be the case). Now, I wonder if he would get a message stating that he was blocked if he had made no action. Say, he wasn't really the seer - but was scum and was blocked. Would he still get a message stating that he was? I don't know if he would or not. But there were 2 kills last night. So if one was scum and one was viggy, then it wasn't Ani who made the kill because it wouldn't have happened - since you apparently blocked him. So, either he got a message stating that he was blocked just for the sake of him knowing that is was, or he is the seer, or maybe like Zigmen said, both of you are duping us. Or, maybe there are more options, just not sure what they would be right now.

I don't think I really understand what you mean about he took the chance that a role blocker would cover him?

NIGHTFALL!

Animavore was the town seer.

The deadline for night actions is 11 hours from the time of this post. Game Day 3 will start 1 hour after that.

Simple Mafia 3 - Day 3

Post by oblivion » Mon Jun 21, 2010 6:07 pm

Magicziggy was gunned down in a hail of bullets. Magicziggy was the town role blocker, who could block one player's night actions (if any) each night.

Feck was killed by a single rifle-shot. Feck was vanilla town.

Among the living:

Ghatanothoa
Charlou
mantisdreamz
higgs2
Normal
Zigmen

Deceased:

Colubridae - vanilla town
DP - vanilla town
Uselesstwit - scum don
Animavore - town seer
Magicziggy - town role blocker
Feck - vanilla town

Nightfall is under discussion in the Peanut Gallery Thread. It will be either 5 hours early or 10-12 hours late depending on what works best for the most players. I'll announce the time in this thread once it is settled.

What? That magic got killed, or that feck got killed?

Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

I wasn't too sure about Feck since he had been so quiet, but being that Useless placed suspicion on him, I thought there was a good chance he was innocent.

Aren't viggy's supposed to have 1 shot?

Are we sure we're not dealing with an indie serial killer role as well?

Not according to this post by oblivion: http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 58#p496936

Since it's a simple game, and he places serial killer roles in larger more complex games, I think we're talking about a vigilante with more than one shot.

Yesterday's posts seem to be more knowing than they should have. I suspect scum insights.

I'm off to work but will check in in about 8 hours.

And Ani, sorry but lynching liars is how we do things. You need to ask yourself if you could have achieved better results without resorting to lying. It is quite possible. Also, sorry MagicZig. In retrospect, you had no need to out your role if you were scum.

I learned something from that whole exchange.

Oh ya, okay. Well, than that's a good thing since viggy is town. I suppose it lessens the paranoia a little!
