It just uses the Google account for OAuth. It cannot see anything except your email address, Avatar and nickname. Also, you can use a Nintendo account instead if you prefer.

So, this ruling against China and their fake islands. I'm not usually for bombing the shit out of shit, but in this case I'm all for the US blowing the fuck up these fake islands. China and their "we'll do whatever the fuck we want" attitude really pisses me off. The US's attitude of the same pisses me off too, but at least they can back it up. If the US turned those islands back to rubble, what the fuck could China do?

In reality, the best option for the US is to continue their military overflights and naval passages through the area, to keep demonstrating that they regard the region as open to all, not a Chinese territorial sea. Only if such flights were fired on should they resort to a military response...

The problem is, that by doing nothing, China will continue to build up in the area, and eventually it will be too risky to take them out if they ever blockade the sea for whatever reason. Take them out now while it's easier. Draw a line in the sand and China will just have to have a sulk about it.

If the US destroyed (without warning) the military bases on these islands, probably killing dozens if not hundreds of Chinese troops, I'm fairly certain they would, at least in attempting to sink US naval vessels in the Pacific, and attacking their bases in the Phillipines etc.
