Re: Media Bias
Biden is terrible, and so is Harris, but both are better than Trump.

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

lol
Your opinions sound so deep, so thoughtful. Then the subject of Trump creeps in, and I can't help but thinking of the similarities between ISIS, Antifa and Trump supporters.
Maybe you should post cat memes more.

Nonsense. Until Biden won the election Trump was the oldest US president in history. If he'd died on the shitter during one of his 3am tweet-binges do you really think Pence taking over would have been illegitimate? Was it illegitimate for Johnson to take over after JFK? It seems to me that the problem most people have with Harris is that they don't think a BLACK WOMAN vice president is legitimate.

I'll take a saucer of coffee (no milk in mine, thanks)
And if you wanted an open discussion of some issue, I'm sure you would know where you could get it.
And Sean, I didn't mention her colour, it was her popularity during the democrat convention I mentioned. Almost the least popular, if I recall.
And she is going to (according to Joe's jokes) take over, if they disagree, after he gets a mysterious illness.
His words. Joking, of course.

Re: Media Bias
The VP is in charge is a tabloid story repeated ad infinitum, regardless of who's in power. Therefore, it is likely appealing to something more universal than Republican racism. I would guess that it's about many things like a desire to see our opponents as easily duped, to sow discord, and fear, and to keep the attacks fresh. Of course that's only from one perspective. The media may just want to sell more ads...Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 3:23 pmNonsense. Personally, as is evident by my posts in the Biden thread I'm trying very hard to focus on what's really happening.

Yeah, with every leader there's always a 'the true power behind the throne' story. With Boris it was his apparatchik Dominic Cummings, until he flounced out. Now it's his fiancée, apparently.

Granted, I also wrote
but this is incontrovertibly proven by what happened on the 6th of January at the capitol, when Trump supporters attempted to overturn Biden's election victory by undemocratic means.
Yes, I know, but it's not with you. You keep mentioning that you're uncomfortable discussing things here.

If only you could ban Trump's speeches from view, you could convince me he said what he didn't say, or that he really meant what you said he meant.
It might even be believable, if I didn't keep reminding myself how wrong and insulting you have been toward Trump supporters. A quite diverse group, by the way.
