Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Yes. Because I had already (falsely) outed myself as an innocent when Irre and I got everyone to whack Mantis. The implication was that because I was outed I was sure to be whacked next so when you asked why I said that I said "No reasonheyzeus wrote:I don't know if that mafia game thread is still around but you said something in the vein of "oh no, I'm going to get whacked tonight for sure!" Yes. Its all rather complicated such are these games of intrigue.

I meant lynch Mantis in the above post.

Ah. My syntax was confusing. Sorry about that. unvote rescinds the vote. unvote; vote X rescinds the original vote and casts a new vote for player X.Normal wrote:Yes, I was using the proper syntax too, as instructed by you. These are the people who have been quiet. Evil Spock is my friend and she told me before the game started that she might not be available that much so her behaviour isn't odd. 95Theses would be a fun choice, seeing as how it would be sweet sweet revenge for last game even if he's innocent. MantisDreamz was way more communicative last game but when she got lynched, she did say that she had learned her lesson about being so open and forthcoming with things. Noncredo was silent last game and I can't remember whether he was guilty or not.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Blip is dead, isn't she? When has CookieJon or Miss Anne Thrope said anything? I've seen Miss looking at this post but staying silent. Then again, s/he was quiet last game as well.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
I have a strong urge to go for 95Theses, the rat. I'd love to see him show up and tell us about how he hasn't been posting much because he's too busy with other things.
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
We could go for one of them.
Or we could go for someone standing in this room right now.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Like I said, the silent people are more suspicious. Why would we go for an active player?
