Anybody seen Morvern Callar? It's directed by Lynne Ramsay, the same woman who did Ratcatcher, and the upcoming Tilda Swinton film We Need to Talk About Kevin. Ratcatcher was pretty bleak. But I like bleak. So I'm wondering if I should give Morvern Callar a try

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

I've read most Tintin books, but I was never a real fan of it. I don't think I'll see it in the cinema.

Tintin reminds me of The Polar Express. Not pushed to see this one.

One of my favorite books of all time. Depp is a little bit old for the part, but after watching the trailer I'm pretty close to sold, and the HST voice he does is so dead-on. I am looking forward to this, it better not suck

I will and i can't wait read all the books and so long as they are true to the characters and general spirit of tintin i will be happy.Gawdzilla wrote:I will also go in with no preconceptions.tattuchu wrote:I had mentioned it before somewhere. It looks very very cool! And I don't even know anything about Tintin. Which is good in a way, because that only adds to the appeal to me. It's something completely new and undiscovered, a whole mythology I'm unfamiliar with.Gawdzilla wrote:Nobody loves "Tintin"?
