Er, the refuge is a federal piece of land. Why should the FBI not spy on illegal occupiers?

Those guys are just in a different world than most of the rest of us, and they're only preaching to the choir.
They've also done their "cause" more harm than good, as Socialist welfare ranching is now no longer in the closet, and "Snacks" have revealed them as titty babies relying on Zakat to provide food just like they rely on the Government to provide raw materials for their businesses.
They're all about the handouts.

Darrow Burke, 57, of Ukiah, California, was driving on Greenhouse Lane about a mile east of Oregon 20 and failed to navigate a 25 mph curve in his white 2003 Ford van. He traveled off the road and crashed through a barbed-wire fence, ending up about 150 feet off the roadway, said Lt. Bill Fugate, an Oregon State Police spokesman.

The van ended up on its side, but Burke escaped injury.

Fugate said Burke was cited for driving without an operators license, a violation that in Oregon does not prompt arrest or jail time.

One can assume Burke had insurance, since he wasn't cited for not having insurance.
So he had a van, insurance, and no DL?

I suspect he just didn't have his California DL with him at the time, or refused to show it, and this is more a failure of journalism than local law enforcement.
