Erm... They have easy access to guns and knives (and machetes and RPGs etc...) and live in a society full of fuckwits who that seize every opportunity to loudly proclaim that this is The Natural Order Of Things and A Good Thing To Have?

Well I do take your point but they are not the only country who's children have access to weaponry, yet all though the school massacre is a common global phenomenon, it is only in the states that is is commonly the pupils rather than strangers who commit these crimes.

Possibly because
a) In other countries where such things happen, such events are less likely to be reported in the western media (especially with all the other shit going on there)
b) There are fewer schools in such countries

PS. I never said it was the school system. Just the gun weapons culture.
