I guess I'm just awesome like thattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
Funny enough, since I started wrapping mine in plastic, I've never spilled nuthin neither.

My keyboard refuses to work unless it gets a few drops of gin on a regular basis...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

Journal

9/11/12 : Almost everyone is dead now

Zilla isn't stealing food, he's eating stuff out of his keyboard.
I saw him sneak a cheese sandwich this way.
(I'll take my chances with the zombies at the corner store.)

shudder..

A friend told me a story once, about a kid that they used to hang around with. He was a bit gullible, and one day, they were out in a meadow, and they got him to piss on an electric cattle fence, by telling him it was turned off.

He was knocked flat by the shock going up his dick, and has never had kids, even though he's been married for years now.
Maybe the shock damaged his bollocks ? Who knows ?

Never piss on an LCD screen.
They have a high voltage inverter for the backlight. And some capacitors can store a healthy charge.

Get someone else to piss on it for you. That's my advice.

There was a period in time when I would periodically completely disassemble and clean my keyboard. That was primarily because the majority of keyboards sold had the backslash key in a place I didn't like, so I had three Packard Bell keyboards with the right layout, and I would swap them around and clean them. Eventually the electronics in all three wore out. My favorite was the keyboard on a dedicated USCD p-system that I used in college. The feel of that keyboard was super delicious. I remember back in the early days of PCs, all the grumbling about IBM's choices regarding the ergonomics of its keyboards. You get used to anything. My current keyboard has varying sets of groupings in the number row getting sticky of late, for what reason I don't know. I suppose it's different that I have no fingers, but even before then, my habit had become one of simply bopping down to the local OEM and picking up a $12 OEM keyboard every year or so. No need for wrapping in plastic or whatever. Though $40 isn't bad in terms of price competitiveness.

Occasionally using the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner is a good idea for most keyboards...
