Pashtun is not likely to be much used in writing, so the main written language is likely to be Dari/Persian, and I'd bet that many, if not most of those who read it also have Arabic.
I'd like to place a bet with you on that one, but I'm afraid most of the evidence has gone up in smoke. :hehe:

I wonder if bartenders have invented the Toasted Koran yet? :ask:
If not, maybe I could create it.

Just thinking aloud...

If you can find a reasonable stake, way to serve it (or should I put Galway on the menu of my 2014 Clontarf Millenium trip?), and way to check who is right that looks honest, I'm taking you on it.

You'll need my permission to cross the Shannon first. :toetap:

You mean to tell me you were planning to visit Ireland and were not going to come to Galway?

I'm surprised they got so uppity about that one. Apparently, one of the legit ways to get rid of it is:

"... Fastening the Qur’an with a heavy object like a stone and then placing it respectfully in flowing water."

It's 2 years from now, Dublin and the Boyne valley will be major parts of it, and I don't know how much budget I'll have to go West (especially since I would also like to visit Clare and the Dingle Peninsula), whereas I've already seen Galway and the Arans.

What's particular and interesting there? I mean, ideally, I'd move to Ireland for a really extended tourism trip, and possibly to spend my retirement there, but seriously, unless I start playing the lotto and win, I'll be on a budget and can't see every nook and cranny of the place.

What's weird is that, AFAIK, wudu is the lesser ablutions practiced to gain cleanliness, not the result thereof, and not even the most thorough cleansing procedure.
