Why would a Jew want to go to Saudi Arabia? It doesn't sound like the kind of destination spot that would appeal to them.

That's like asking why a woman would want to go to an all male university, or a black student would want to go to white public school. The answer is to do what anyone else does in Saudi Arabia, live, work, play, etc.

There are settlements in Saudi Arabia? Last time I checked non-Muslims weren't even allowed to enter Mecca, and no Jewish Temples or Christian Churches were allowed to be built in the entire country. That's because Arab Muslims are oppressed by non-Arab Muslims, I guess.

JERUSALEM — Jews and Israelis, or passengers carrying any non-Islamic article of faith, will not be able to fly Delta Air Lines flights from the U.S. to Saudi Arabia under Delta's new partnership with Saudi Arabian Airlines.

Upon reflection - while this sounds despicable, and Saudi Arabia's laws are hateful and despicable - I don't think Delta is doing anything wrong. They'll board anyone who shows up with a ticket and proper visa documents/passport. If the Saudi scumbags won't issue the proper papers, then I suppose Delta could simply cancel all flights to Saudi Arabia, but I think that would only be possible as a practical matter if all carriers did that.

Why not simply stop buying oil from them, and stop selling them military hardware, and then pull all military bases out of Saudi entirely.

Surely that would send a better message to the vile and criminal Saud regime that one airline pulling out?

I think that interests like global political stability and the potential for complete collapse of Saudi society coupled with a likely resulting regional war which has a decent possibility of spiral out of control and going global prevent that.

We ought to obtain alternative energy sources and slowly draw down our Saudi oil consumption, yes. But, to immediately cut them off would destroy the region, and millions of people would like die and millions more would become refugees.

Well, not every oil exec is a WASP like the bushes... or any other kind of business could want to send an exec or rep to Saudi so they can get deals, and jews are as much in business as any other group.
