I just came back from a parent-teacher conference with my kids' Kindergarten teacher. Apparently she had done a mock election in her classroom yesterday and left the results on a dry erase board. Obama beat Romney 19-6.

As goes Ms. Taylor's Kindergarten class, so goes the nation... :cheer:

I was just downtown and walked in front of the White House. They have half the plaza barricaded off and are building stuff with plywood. I asked someone what it was. They are building the platforms for the inauguration, in January.

It's going to take me a while to grok the street layout in the area around the White House...
